I love this - it's hot but very tender, exactly the way I'd expect them to behave. I love how Bill is so completely overwhelmed by her sensuality.

I was going to say that I'm sorry it didn't make it into MLH, but then I selfishly realized that this story would have kicked the ass of the one I wrote, so I guess I'm actually not sorry at all. :) Very glad you posted nonetheless!

Thanks... It's nice to hear that from you, for sure.

*sigh* See, now... that just makes me feel worse about not being able to get it done on time. I've never done well in any anonymous fic thing yet and I was really happy for this piece of writing at first. almost made it... I suck. D:

Awww, I'm sorry, I certainly didn't mean to make you feel worse. *hugs you* The most important thing is that you wrote something that you are happy with. Judging from the well-deserved lovely comments, you made a lot of other people happy too. :)

After reading this again, I'm thinking that whatever ending we're left with, I hope it at least gives us the freedom to imagine that something lovely like this could still happen. (I have this sinking feeling, though, that there will be too many dead bodies for that to be true, lol.)

*sighs and hugs back* Sorry... I'm just having a really bad day today, and I was seriously depressed about not being able to finish this fic on time anyway. I'm still not sure I like the second half of the final result that much, to be honest with you... It is not what I'd wanted it to be. But what do I know? I guess if people like it... that's the main thing. I'll probably feel better about it at some point in the future, but I wrote nearly every day I could to get it done in time and still didn't make it so... I am not pleased with myself at the moment. D: I know you meant well, though. *hugs*

I hope so, too. I wonder if Ron realises that too dark an ending might wreck the entire canon for future watching for those of us who're really emotionally tied to it... I hope he does and he doesn't go that far. I want to be able to go back and enjoy BSG a few years from now, unlike Stargate Atlantis which I haven't been able to watch since the canon went to hell.

I'm sorry that you didn't get this finished for MLH but I am glad that you found the time to finish it. It's nice to see a fun and flirty Laura. We surely aren't going to get that on BSG. This was a nice dream from the desolate Earth we got.

Yeah, me too... It would be nice if we did get to see that, but... we can dream.

I love how this starts. Not only for the imagery of Laura wearing a short skirt, but the scene I imagine of her re-hemming it. The idea of her doing something so delicate, requiring finger dexterity…in other words, I’m enthralled by the way her hands work in the fantasy you conjure for me.
And Laura’s such a tease. Honestly. It’s like she knows I’m watching. But that’s a ramble for another time ( ... )

Funnily enough, I was doing hand sewing just a couple of weeks ago. I can absolutely picture Laura doing something of that sort, and I think that may partly be why I wrote it the way I did.

Oh, but she is! *grin* And yes...

*cackle* She's a demanding wench, that's true. But it would be fun, I agree with you there...

Thank you darlin'! That was what I was trying to convey with the story's structure, which is why the frakkin' thing drove me nuts and took me so long to finish ;)
