Aaron remembered his first night in World's End, nearly two years ago. He remembered being unable to sleep at every spooky noise and footfall, crouched down beside a broken stone fence until Viral had come to fetch him and take him in. Weak and meek and wanting to go home...

He could sympathize with the one named Rion, could remember just how homesick you could get because of this place. He had promised to bring Zelda something to eat, and decided that if Rion were there, he would pack enough for him as well. It was all strapped onto the Direwolf that walked shoulder to shoulder with him, dark as a shadow. Passing through the barriers was easily accomplished, the bundle he held sat down as he glanced about. Zelda was nowhere in sight...but perhaps...

Well, the newcomer had to be around here somewhere.

"Rion...?" he called once, not too loud, not wanting to disturb anyone else who lived there as well.

Rion looks up at that; the voice doesn't sound familiar, but his logical guess is that it's either someone texted him, or he's probably going to get murdered by some sort of creepy stalker who's gonna like, rape him or something.

For the moment he will assume the former because he is innocent and nice and likes to think that nobody would want to rape him. Unfortunately, Rion lacks the capability to say anything back, but soon after Aaron calls that out, Ketara makes some sort of sound that would best be described as a warm trilling sound, as if trying to guide Aaron to their location (which honestly isn't too far away; I mean he's right by the sanctuary at this point.)

Dreizehn heard the trilling first, ears prickling, a questioning sort of grunt escaping him. He took a step forward, but by then Aaron had heard it as well and was making his way in that direction.

"Rion...?" He tried again, adding quickly. "It's me, Aaron." The trilling grew louder and suddenly, Aaron saw him...

And paused at the sight of Ketara, blinking in uncertainty. Well, he could safely say that he had never seen anything like that before. It was pretty though...whatever it was.

"Whoa..."

Ketara trills again in response, looking at both Dreizehn and Aaron surprisingly calmly, considering that the wolf probably could maul the shit out of both her and her ward if he really felt like it. She does back away slightly, but not out of fear so much as 'hey, let's let Rion see what's going on instead of staring at me'.

Rion does wave a little bit, and then... gets out his communicator. What?

Hi. will pop up a few moments later on Aaron's communicator. Maybe... maybe he's just shy and not really talkative, right? That's it. Of course.
