PLEASE. PLEASE TELL ME IT'S NOT ANOTHER SHITTY MANGA ADAPTATION WHERE HE'S SUPPOSED TO TAKE THE BLAME IF EVERYTHING IS FULL OF CRACK AND NO ONE CARES. just found out tegoshi is possibly co-starring in it. i cannot stop laughing. this is so odd. I AM REALLY HOPING THAT THERE WILL BE A DECENT SUPPORTING CAST OH MY GOD.

What the hell, I thought he was scheduled for Gokusen 4 next season? *confused*

The anime is The Wallflower, aka Perfect Girl Evolution, which is actually pretty popular in the US and Japan. There's a Funimation dub of it and everything (this picture is a lot better http://www.funimation.com/thewallflower/). Soooo I guess I don't know what to think? It's still super weird. I want good Kame ratings so bad, god.

sobbing. IDK. I'm so confused. I don't even know why I track these Chineses stalker blogs when half of the time I just end up staring at screencaps and wonder what's going on. aldjkfngakjd I mean it's 4 AM in Japan. How the hell could this have leaked to China already?

But Gokusen isn't confirmed, right? lkajndfgkjadng actually if it's this or Gokusen I'd pick a new drama any time. As great as my admitted weakness for Odagiri Ryu goes personally I'd just like to put Gokusen to rest now.

*sigh* I mean, Wallflower/PGE has a kind of silly storyline - dunno if you looked it up on wiki, but basically there's this girl who is really unfashionable and doesn't care about makeup or making herself look nice because when she was young and confessed to the boy she liked, he called her ugly. And her aunt owns this mansion these 4 ikemen guys live in, so she tells the boys she'll triple the rent unless they turn the girl into a lady. It's quirky and fun, though I'm not sure how it would translate into a drama. I guess a plus would be a lot of silly Kame faces, and the main guy is kind of awesome I thought (though I haven't kept up with the manga for years so I don't quite remember).

Ooh, I just saw the castlist from maya_morning, hmmmmm. Oomasa Aya is pretty, and Uchi and Tegoshi would be interesting, I guess? This is still really strange ( ... )

No really, THIS NEEDS TO STOP. It sounds like a Nobuta remake. I don't know what horrifies me more: that it's another girly manga adaptation or that TEGOSHI'S FACE could be there. I just skdjghdgkj. I love Kame obsessively but what the fuck.

This comment is more pointless than Kami no Shizuku but. I'm really torn about all this :(

aldjfngkajndgkjandfkg after a few hours of letting this sink in I'M STILL TRAUMATISED. but still. If this means we can stop talking about Odagiri Ryu and Ueto Aya as Yankumi then alkjdnfgak okay, I will accept myKame's faith. SOBBING. HAVE YOU READ THE "sexually harassed by his boss" THING? I've changed my mind. alkdjnfgakj somebody in management has obviously tried their desperate best to find a drama for him which will surely exploit every possible opportunity for good ratings.

Ok you make an excellent point. I'd rather this than another Gokusen (which would certainly mark the end of Kame's career/popularity djfkshgf).
I HAVE AND THEN I SAW THIS AND IT ALL BECAME STRANGER. I admit I'm looking forward to seeing how they will ~imply~ the harassment thing dskfsjfh. Also, caps from the anime seem to indicate Kame's character takes a few showers and hangs out in his underwear in more than one scene, so you might have a point about management as well.... I don't know how much Tego and Uchi can contribute to making this more popular, but I think "the more Johnny's, the better" works in most cases? dskfjshlzdg I can't shake this dramatic feeling that everyone will hate Kame anyway lol...

...actually I hate to say this, but at least this time the "plot" is more "normal"? I mean... he doesn't have to save the world by tasting wine, so maybe. Maybe there is some hope.
