When they pose a similar question on Desert Island Discs (only you get to choose one book), they say that everyone gets the Bible and the Complete Works of William Shakespeare.

I imagine I would start staging Shakespeare's plays with the monkeys on this island. If they can theoretically type the complete works, surely they could act it out.

I would be hard pressed to choose. I would probably bring Watchmen to cover my nerd cred. Maybe a Norton anthology of British or American lit, due to the sheer volume. Gatsby. Something funny; humor would be needed. And, to be practical, a desert island survival guide.
