Thanks, hun. Sadly no way to leave early and nap. However my day will be filled with caffeine in amazing quantities so that I can function.

On the bright side, Zip (manager) is pretty understanding, so he won't hassle me if I'm not operating on all cylinders. Tease a bit, maybe, not no hassles.

Well, this morning I've emailed my city counciler/alderman/whatever he's called. And I found the city bylaws concerning noise and printed it off for reading. I'm cynical enough that I don't believe anything will come of it, but I feel better for having ranted. Politely, of course.

In the meantime, I will indulge in caffeine. Copious amounts.

Zip (manager) is cool. He understands sleep deprivations and the effects thereof - he's got a toddler and a newborn. At lease there won't be any hassles to deal with today because of my near nonfunctioning state.

And on that note, I hear coffee calling my name. I'd better answer. Wouldn't want it to feel unloved and get cranky...
