A grave turning over

The New Leaf Cafe. It’s a restaurant in Fort Tryon Park, which is beautiful. The restaurant is owned by Bette Middler. There’s a slope up to it, and grass as green as money, and dogwood trees the color of frosted lipstick. Thanks Laura--I thought so too :). So far all I've gotten is 'you know, I know the name of a good therapist' or 'you know, you've been going downhill since BSG went off the air,' when really, all I wanted was for someone to compliment the writing. I'm not THAT bad off--I got a bit carried away. Not saying i'm not in a funk right now, but it's not a paralyzing, dangerous funk. Just a general malaise, and I dwell too much on things that happened a long time ago. Things with Greg have gotten so much better that I mostly have guilt and regret. As is probably obvious from this entry, I'm working on that through writing, and hope to have a decent book out of it eventually. We'll see.

I'm glad that you're only kind of funky. :-) And yes, I agree with you, there's a book here. I'm also glad to hear it every time you talk about how good you and Greg are doing. Give him some love from me.
