It's not really an honor for Bush to come here. It's just an inconvenience.

yeah, i wish israel wasnt treated like the 52nd state (the 51st being any number of other places slightly south of america). its being babysat. "independence" would be nice...

One time I was at a rally, and there was a guy with a sign that said, "America, Israel is not one of your colonies" or something like that. If only our own government thought so.

I agree. I read a really good column in Ma'ariv a few days ago about how Israel and Bush are doing more damage than good and are too stupid to realize it now...

Well, demonstrators shouldn't stay home... we need to give some form of counter-weight to the nonsense. There needs to be a strong show of opposition. Not that the idiot Olmert will care, but it's important to show the media.

I doubt Bush will hear/see any protests. The government seems pretty determined to shield him from any hints of Israelis who aren't hotel workers or security personnel.
