I gasped too. And then I thought, "Oh no, I hope Meredith doesn't gasp!" Because when I went into the water for the first time on Wednesday, I didn't use the stairs (I just slid into the water) and it was deeper than I'd expected it to be and I might have gasped a little...and then coughed quite a bit when I came up.

P.S.: How was your flight and how are the States and all that?

it hasnt even been a day and your already watching tv. your just another lost jewish soul. you spend a year and a half in israel and ure back for 12 hours and thats it. maybe you should have stayed those few extra months. you might of actually done something good. oh well.

I was thinking maybe because the ferry crash was early in the morning and he didn't get a chance to daven yet, so maybe he was davening in the clinic.

So this morning I was watching one of those morning TV shows, and they had the muppets from Sesame Street Live and a whole bunch of little kids including one in a kipa who kept whispering to another one in a baseball cap (I'm guessing there was a kipa underneath). Thing is there are Jews all the time on TV, but to see a frum Jew, that's really exciting!
