By the way--this is very exciting, but I forgot to mention it before--when I went into New York on Tuesday for my visa stuff, I had a celebrity sighting! I was sitting on the m104 bus, minding my own damn business, and at about Broadway and 70th, I'm 95% sure that I saw an actor from one of my favorite television shows walking down the street with ( Read more... )

They're weird, because I was starting at this guy for, like, five minutes at a red light, and I'm still not 100% sure whether it was him or just some guy who looks just like him.

Like this one time, my sisters and I were in a pizza shop and the guy sitting at a table across the store looked just like Anthony Hopkins, but it's completely unrealistic for Anthony Hopkins to be in a random kosher pizza store that's not even in a big city.

This would be so much more exciting if I watched that show! But I freaked out when I spotted our old local news anchor woman at a Famous Footwear about ten years ago, and that I was looking for shoes on the same aisle as her son. So this is still exciting!

Did you say hi to her?

(Spin City is my favorite sitcom ever; I'd lend you my DVDs if I ever saw you in person.)

Of course not. I was gobsmacked, awestruck, etc. I just gave her a bunch of sly, side glances and played it cool. Well, as cool as a nine year old can play it?

(Woe! :( I could always watch reruns somewhere sometime.)

You're talking about this guy, not Michael J. Fox, right?

yea. of course. michael j fox wasn't a character actor.

as in he could play more than one type of character.
