Dollhouse, Will I Eat My Words?

Wow. I really, really enjoyed the last episode of Dollhouse. Not only was the main story riveting, but they finally solved the “eww” factor that has been a major problem for me (non-consensual, non-aware, prostitution… too much like pedophilia for my taste). I was really looking forward to Dollhouse, but I have to say it's been a MAJOR disappointment. Then only reason I've continued to watch it is because it's created by Whedon. After last week's episode, I told my husband he could stop recording it. Then, I saw the previews for tonight. I'll give it one more week. I hope it can hook me.

Still, I miss all the Whedon-humor. I get that this is a drama, but with it's premise, it would be a whole lot easier to enjoy if it ratched up the funny.

I have been TRYING to love it. There's not a sense of family that's marked his other show. I've only been watching it to support my girlfriend Eliza. THOUGH... the last episode gave me hope. And a tingle seeing my girl in those stockiings! HELLLLLO!!! :)
