Spent the day w/lilacfairy

Yesterday, I spent the day w/lilacfairy, celebrating her birthday in the typical way: going out to eat, going to a bookstore, and seeing a movie.

I was introduced to a pleasant diner-ish spot, My Garden Cafe, not far from where lilacfairy lives. In the same shopping center there was Mr T's Donut Shop, so I had to try a selection even though we didn't see Mr. T

Loved Into the Woods. Joey and I were the only people in the theater, but had to sit all the way up front cause I couldn't manage the stairs. Once I got comfortably slouched in my chair and my hearing adjusted to the volume it was fine. Better than fine.

Always an education having a meal with Joey. Squid ink pasta tastes interesting! Joey ordered a glass of wine to compliment our food so I got to try something else new. And vanilla and coffee gelato! Yuummmm...

New book of Pre-Rafaelite art. Chocolate old-fashioned doughnut. Joey. Yeah VERY HAPPY birthday!!!
