Belle Nova, brig

Feb 08, 2004 17:14

::unkeys last cell door, motioning for MACO companion to step back and gives some privacy::

::moves aside with faint smirk as a handful of the Belle Nova crew drift out, glares firmly in place::

::waits for a long moment, then steps inside dimly lit cell::

Don't tell me it's your type of place.

::shrugs and offers an unabashedly hostile look::

Hardly.

Ah well, cheer up then. You're free, full run of your ship again. Negotiations went well and we're going home. Gladly.

::narrows eyes::

Anything aside a bruised ego I can take care of first?

Don't flatter yourself. You've proven yourself inept every other time I've run across a version of you, I don't expect a miracle now.

::steps out of cell, crossing arms and turning to stare at him::

I wouldn't say my ineptness got your Captain and his ship to this point, but we won't argue the point. I don't have the time. There's another version of you that I need to worry about.

::stares briefly::

Pity you apparently never had the benefit of someone who cared.

::shakes head, turning to leave::

::separates from MACO at launch bay doors, stepping in and glancing around, noting the now open storage closet in faint amusement::

::moves toward Delta Flyer, tapping transport tag gingerly::

Ensign, I'm about to bring the Flyer over to...your alien friend's...ship and retrieve Renara. I'll be transporting in and wouldn't want your friend to be too surprised.

She knows. Renara's waiting. I don't think it's a good idea for her to be here for the firefight.

No, that it isn't. The sooner I get her back to Linnis the better.

::sighs, climbing into pilot's seat and setting up preflight while waiting for clearance::

I'll be there shortly.

::acknowledges clearance, guiding the craft carefully out of launch bays, relieved to be back at her helm, whatever the surrounding situation::
