Trust me, you don't need to know the language to survive in Japan. Plenty of folks speak English and most signs are in Japanese and English. :)

That's true, but I'd feel less like an uneducated dork over there if I knew more of the language.

Marc Okrand would be the better choice for Klingon language lessons since he created it, Michael Dorn just spoke it.

...I wouldn't mind being fluent in Klingon. >_>

Before I even read Timikun's post I had also thought about space being high on my list. I imagine that a full month of it would become absolutely dull though.
