A shimmer in the air hails the newest arrival; it coalesces into a very pretty Starfleet captain, clad in the stylish green wraparound. She has her communicator in hand, and is halfway through an instruction.

"-but don't let them out of your sight, is that understo-"

As she registers she's not on the Enterprise, the communicator is exchanged for ( Read more... )

Pike had developed a routine since he'd been aboard Starbase Infinity: Wake up, take a shower, have coffee, go to the holodeck, have more coffee and lunch, look at the stars, go back to his quarters read, go to dinner, then go to bed Repeat.

He'd lost track of how long it'd been since he'd been there or since there'd been a new arrival. Imagine his surprise when he spotted someone he hadn't seen before sometime between looking at the stars and his trip back down the corridor to his quarters.

"Hello, Captain." he said as he looked up at her from his wheelchair. There was something familiar about her, though he couldn't put his finger on it as of yet.

He's immediately identifiable, despite being younger and less... disfigured. Jim lowers her phaser, because it's not very good form to go pointing them at your superior officer.

"Admiral Pike. Where are we?"

She knows who he is, yet he is much less sure of her, "It's called Starbase Infinity. It apparently exists out of normal time. There are Starfleet Officers from many timelines and centuries here."

Phoebe Janeway was having a moment of inspiration. She woken up in the middle of the night... well... the time she decided to sleep... she never got how that whole night and day thing worked in space. Her sister had explained it to her once, giving her her "it's not hard to figure out Phoebe, you're just acting dumb to annoy me" expression, but she forgot how it worked. Anyway, she had woken up with an idea to paint all the corridors with various murals. It was fun, and no one had stopped her so far.

She saw the woman approaching, and immediately smiled. Oh boy! New people! She thought. When she saw the phaser she squeeled, not in terror, but in delight.

"Ooh neat! One of those old fashioned phasers! I love those!"
