This is Starbase Infinity. Some sort of a middle point where different timelines and realities converge and it keeps pulling people into it, though we don't know why.

There was only so much sitting around watching movies and tv a kid could do before even that got boring. So venturing out on her own, Joanna was taking her time studying the way she was going carefully. She didn't want to get lost- her dad wouldn't like that at all if she wasn't back in time for supper.

But seeing the man just sort of hit the deck? Yeah she wasn't expecting that or the fact that she knew the man. "Pavel!" Jo squealed loud making a bee line straight for where the older Ensign was at.

[ Chekov blinks as he sees the young girl run up to him. ]

Chekov may or may not be having a little girl hanging off his leg by now unless he stops her. Of course Jo started to giggle at the response that the older man was giving- this had to be some sort of game and it was one she was more than willing to play along with.

"Of course I know you, silly! You work on the Enterprise with my Daddy!" Beaming the brightest smile up at Chekov she couldn't help but blush a little.
