[Jim is sitting in one of the lower decks of Starbase Infinity. The couch he's taken up residence in today is against a wall, his gaze looking out at the stars. His elbows are on his knees and his hands put together. The few Starfleet Personal that have passed by him? He has merely ignored. He certainly doesn't seem to be the infamous James T. Kirk ("renegade and terrorist!").
Occasionally he reaches up and scratches at the back of his neck. Sometimes he'll sit back and cross his legs, maybe his ankles. Sometimes he'll just stand in front of the window then move back to sitting down. Either way he has chosen the farthest most secluded part of the Starbase he could find.]
