That was wonderful! Thank you so much for this! I thought the writing was very clever, and addictive. I felt just as disturbed as poor Bones. the ending, with Spock, was very appropriate and satisfying. this was great! <3

Oh wow. I guess I should have expected it from the warnings, but this is intense. So many things I loved about this, the overall tone, your Bones voice, the dream sequence (wow! Just, wow - all those little details and the quick snapshot of his grandmother - she's so real in just a few words. Gingham is classic) And, well, everything dammit.

He wonders what it feels like to live in a world where friendship is based on a mutual lack of killing each other This whole section with him musing on the mirror world is great, but this line really resonated. I can hear the frustration and confusion in McCoy.

"He's a doctor, not a strategist," Spock counters. He moves a rook and steeples his fingers. "He believes he knows the difference." (Meow Spock XD ~ love love love this ( ... )

Even though I read a few drafts of this in development, I feel the need to reiterate that I am in total awe of your ability to take subject matter that makes me quail and produce a quality piece of writing that is so totally absorbing as to make me forget my apprehension all together.

You always manage to adapt your tone and meter to create such vivid images that it's almost as if I'm watching a movie when I read your pieces, except better.
