In all seriousness, the way you put Pine!Kirk in some of Shatner!Kirk's more uncomfortable positions is genius. Because it's so much fun to see how a younger Kirk reacts differently (my personal favorite being, "Do you just pluralize everything?" XD). And of course, jokes about the green shirt are always good for Starfleet brownie points.

And the last section. *sniffles* Oh, Kirk and Spock. I love you in all your hurt/comfort glory. Especially since most of it is canon. And McCoy! He instantly makes everything better. ^_^

This is fantastic! I love your use of TOS canon and the spins you make on it. (Crazy Vulcan-killing-stick!) And even though I was internally going "eeeee, I love that episode!" it also worked well as a crash course in Trek, if that makes sense.

Side note: your McCoy voice is dead on. Thanks for writing this!
