All you do is request a pairing and a a prompt/kink and any number of ( Read more... )

I'm going to borrow an oldie but a goodie here:

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.

1. You spelled Berkeley correctly! &hearts
2. Sweet, sweet banter.
3. With geography!
4. Moleskine of English-major sadness. Because it is so true. Chris still has all the ones he wrote in when he was an English major at home somewhere. Archived by year.
5. The whole idea of Chris reading one of his favorite passages aloud to Zach. True (and embarrassing) story: I once read an entire passage from Martin Amis's London Fields (and from which I got my username) to a boy I liked. Which is to say, yeah, Chris is totally in love with Zach.
6. And for this: he could swear Chris shivers, just a little, at the brush of his skin. *shivers ( ... )

I LOVE THIS TOO MUCH, both the idea and the execution ("the rasp of morning"!) Our rivalry is rooted in the mastery of the English language. <3333

I love this so freaking hard. You don't even know. I want to live in this fic and snuggle in a corner where I can watch snarky!Chris impress ZQ with his harcore intellect, reading Raymond Caver outloud ever morning for the rest of time.

Loved that you used "Cathedral" btw. That's sort of a little favorite of mine.

Okay, A+ for using Carver, whom I had completely forgotten about until you mentioned it and now Comp 202 is all kicking my ass with memories of awesome.

And also,
"I’m gonna sing a passage all over your face" is the greatest line ever. For serious. Love this to pieces.
