Apologies for the absence of late.
In the past week or so, I've found out my moot court team advanced to the oral semi-finals in Lund, Sweden, was offered a summer position doing human rights work in Warsaw, rewrote a short for a magazine (fingers crossed!), nailed an interview for a profile piece I'm writing for another magazine, acquired a keyboard, and became embroiled as a producer on two short films, one of which is an adaptation of an earlier stageplay I'd written while at Tisch, both of which begin shooting in February.
And I haven't even purchased my casebooks yet!
It feels good to be back, and I'm in a much healthier place than where the end of last semester left me. And there's been quite a bit of good news lately, so that is always helpful.
I'm ready for a fruitful semester and hope to have retained the lessons I learned from the last one. But I'm running around again and as much rest as I got over the past few weeks, there's exists the lingering sense of surprise at the fact that my legs still work as well as they do.
