Wow...wonderful and devastating and amazing...without even knowing the particulars of the Riggins history you know it just had to be something unbelieveably awful

Man, you're fast! I figured I'd catch some Friday afternoon slackers out there. Glad you liked it. I had fun absorbing the little inspirations that came along to me as I was writing. I didn't know what happened to the Mom before I started. I didn't know about the deaf/mute angle. Didn't have the "signs" connections. Kind of fun when it comes together.

It is so much fun when it comes together. I've had a little thing running around in my head, so I've been noodling it a bit today.

Such a beautiful turn-of-phrase you have. Lovely descriptive stuff too (the glint off the bottle in Walt's hand; the poptart image, so appropriate for boys their age). Jason already seems so mature, and I liked having backstory on Tim that shows the sensitivity that is always below the surface with him. But the piece-de-resistance HAS to be "toxic lover"! Oh, what Dr. Freud would have to say about that!

So well-constructed and focused. I feel even more keenly for Billy now. Thanks so much.

For some reason LJ didn't know who I was when I posted the first time. Sorry for doubling up.

Thanks for reading, Vache, and for the thoughtful comments. You know, I didn't really think all the way through the connotations of "toxic lover"! Honestly! I was just thinking what words I'd get if Jason misspelled the letter "e"! Now that you mention, that is a pretty good Freudian slip for nearly all present (at least a few years hence). Hey, if I teamed up my descriptive writing with your awesome sex scenes, who knows what would happen? :)

And, of course, that was me responding. I forget to log on before I reply. Maybe that's what happened to you, too.

Yikes! I don't want to be known as a sex writer! I'd aspire to more thoughtful pieces like yours. Perhaps my style is still a little muscular. Must be the football fan in me. I'm trying something different for UUFD, so we'll see how that goes. Keep your irons in the fire...I always enjoy reading such well-crafted and tenderly-observed writing.

Exclamations of "wow"! are always welcome! Thanks for the feedback. I do plan to keep writing FNL. Am gonna work on branching out a little, but will always come back to Timmy, I'm sure.

This was really good, and one of the few Tim/Jason stories I actually liked. LoL. Keep it up, and I can't wait to read what you got for UFFD.

Okay, now I know I've arrived. Joe DUDE liked my story, even though it was about the Riggins! :) Thanks for checking it out! I'm amazed you have time what with all the writing and planning and learning and writing that you do!

hehe. Stories with any combination of J/T/L arent my bag (thats a different story for a different day), but after that first story you wrote, I knew I had to read this one. And it has the 'Joe DUDE Seal of Approval' (I like the sound of that too. haha).

I'm amazed myself. But when an idea come to my head, it doesnt take long for me to write it out completely (not to mention I'm a pretty fast typer, lol). Maybe like an hour or so. It boggles my mind sometimes.
