I took part in my first ever archery tournament last Sunday. It was brilliant and exhausting and educational and inspiring and great fun. Preparation involved extra practice sessions with two of the guys from the club who were TOTALLY kind and helpful as I took apart and readjusted the hardware on my bow time after time to get the sights set up to

... I had to find my score card again... Competition targets score a 6 for dead centre, going 5-4-3-2-1 as you go outwards (the ones we use at the club score 10 for the centre, so I must ask someone whether that score set-up is a general competition thing, or just a field shooting thing
