Let's not forget the likeness of the badly severed boar's head on a pike that "graces" the hood.

Oh, my! How could I forget about the boar's head? Is it a huge hood-ornament or is the likeness painted on the hood? If the former, I'll bet that the chassis tilts down in front, regardless of the tires used.

I am, thanks to you writing it. I'm currently on chapter eight and feeling pretty sorry for what Vern went through out by the koi pond. Talk about indignities.

Funny you should mention that. As soon as I posted the entry, I realized that is what everyone would think. But of course, I meant the phone call from Homer Lutton that I mention in part two. He's a vet, likes trips and is pretty old but not that old ( ... )

Yeah - I'm only here for comic relief this weekend - and I'm not usually funny :-(

Did you know that the film "O Brother Where Art Though" with George Clooney was also a retelling of Homer's Odyssey? I don't know if you watched it but it has sirens, a cyclops, etc. It's more enjoyable to watch with that in mind.
