Lovely. Just lovely.

It might be more accurate to say that some people seem incapable of thinking outside of their own frame of reference.

A friend once said about someone, "Her reality bubble is a little bit too opaque." It's a good way of saying it, don't you think?

That is just great! I may have to share that!

I know some people on the LGG list who sometimes talk about the White Picket Culture and the people in it who each live in their own little bubble. In that case, they're talking about people who don't want to read books in which anything disturbing happens.

Couldn't agree more. OTOH, I don't see the stodgy News Journal letting a reporter use a handle like that.

Names like "Summer" make me think of people like "River" Phoenix which makes me think of all us hippy-types, Jesus Freaks, and so on, way back when.
