this month's picspammy challenge is 'scenes and sequences'. i hadn't originally planned on entering but then this idea came to me. straightheads (known as closure in the US) didn't get a very wide release, nor much press. it's a disturbing movie that problematises standard tropes of victim and assailant. it features excellent performances by gillian anderson and danny dyer.
