I was looking a little at the tvtropes.org site for "Hetalia" and America aka Alfred had the idea of making a gun to get enemy soldiers to fall in love with each other (under the trope "It Runs on Nonsensoleum"). One humorous thought was Veneziano (North Italy) might counter with a gun of his own uses Romano's "Tomato Isotope" that causes both weapons to be drawn to each other--and envelop all the nations there in a gender-bending confusion, turning the male nations there into females and vice versa. Thus was the effect of Italy's "Tomato Surprise" (which also puns on the slang of "tomato": beautiful person, usually female):P
