FIRST POST-REPAIR, POST-SICK WORK DAY

Back to work today in the newly-fixed car. During the drive to work----paraphrasing what my father used to say----my ass was so tight with nerves, you couldn't have driven a railroad spike up it with a sledgehammer. Made it there and back OK......no car incidents........which I count as a positive. Little victories. One day at a time. Etc ( Read more... )

what was your dad's unit? sorry you've been sick. what email do i use for you, anyhow? i think i have like, 3 of them or something. :)

Oh, he was in the Navy, and worked as a butcher on the base in Hollister, California.....he never left the States!
