Well, the day has finally come for me to unveil the Season 4 Competition! As we now know, season 4 will never happen, but there was a clear set-up at the end of season 3, and why not indulge ourselves by writing our own season 4?

As someone who can't write fic very well, but can draw, I'm very happy about this idea (if/when the time comes)!

that'd be awesome if we had some good artwork coming in (I'd have a go myself but it'd probably be quite fail) because then if we have banners for the winners, if theres artwork for particular eps or people's series I could use that in them!

ok, first of all - damn you! I've got so many things to catch up on, tidy, buy etc, now my head's all filled with ideas that need to be written down! Hehe.
And Absolutely no resurrecting someone whose death scene or dead body we've seen, however much you might want to have Allan or Guy in your season 4! meh :(
Other than that, CAN'T WAIT! Looking at my new Word doc., I've already got 220 words of ideas and keep saying 'dammit' in a very excited way because I have all this other stuff to do. Ah well, this is far more fun :D
Anyway, I really do have to go and get on with things, but I love this idea and I can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with :)

I guess I shouldn't of read this until I saw the season. AHG!
Anyway, I'd be happy to help with artwork when the time comes if I've seen season 3 by then. Anyone know when it's coming around to the USA?

I keep checking the BBCA web site and finding nothing! Of course, the BBC gave UK viewers all of two weeks' notice, I believe. I have not seen it mentioned so I am thinking late August/early September. But that is just a guess.

That sent one of my episode ideas down the hill... Anyhow, I'll surely come up with a solution.(After all, I'm studying to be an screenwriter).

And this may sound silly, but I have to ask: I suppose that by accepting new characters, you accept both episodic characters and characters with a multi-episode arc, don't you?

So sorry for the delay in replying, I was in Nottingham and then there were thunderstorms :)

Anyway, in answer to your question, yes, absolutely - characters of all kinds can be created and they can be in as many episodes as you like. It's entirely up to you. I'll add this to the FAQs now.

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this community and to livejournal, but when i saw this competition i really wanted to enter (so i made a livejournal especially for this competition).
