I was minding my own business, unloading the supplies we'd pilfered from the mercenaries. The fist came out of nowhere and suddenly I was flat on my arse. I struggled to rise and reached for my sword when a deep voice shouted Robin's name.
"Legrand!" Robin shouted.
The handsome blond French knight grinned from ear to ear.
Memories of their rendezvous at night in the Holy Land flooded my senses. I could hear my master and his lover, still ached over their whispered moans, rasping breaths, and the sensuous scent of their sex.
Why couldn't Robin love me that way?
