Thanks! Any chance you'll take on Little John's dream? :)

Actually I was contemplating possibly doing Djaq.

No, seriously.

Call me a massive optimist but I had the (small and probably forlorn) hope somebody else might do LJ...

*grin* Well, I'm definitely too busy to participate, so no John from me (though I think I would have enjoyed writing him a dream, because I did have an idea!).

Good idea about pimping, thanks!

This is a great idea, but dammit, I'm too busy to participate!

Ah, I can sympathise there :(

Anyway, I'll keep it open indefinitely, so anyone can come back to it any time in the future (would of course be a good idea to make a post linking to it if it's been quite a while!).

He's standing in the castle courtyard. The cobbles are slick and shining brightly with recent rain. Everything is washed in shades of grey, even his own clothes and his hands look like parchment. He looks around bewildered at the battlements, the gate, the stairs and walkways - there's not another living soul ( ... )

This is excellent! I always wondered what happened to Roger. It's unlikely he would have just been imprisioned, and I like the idea of this haunting Allan.

Thanks! I thought Roger was definitely dead (he looks dead at the end of the ep and if he wasn't he's bound to be sooner rather than later) and yes Allan might try to weasel out of it and tell himself it wasn't his fault but he'd know it was really.

Awwwwwww, poor Allan! I love this, it just feels so right. Lovely bittersweet foreshadowing too. And is it me, or am I feeling shades of the Aeneid in there?[1] Yay, well done!

[1] Palinurus and all that, if you know it - book 6 stuff.

John

"I'm telling you my friend, it's wonderful!"

John shook his head, both to clear it and to express his disbelief. "It's death. Don't think it can be much fun."

LeGrand laughed merrily. "Okay, the dying part's not great. But Heaven! Heaven's just perfect."

John cocked an eyebrow. "How so?"

The blonde man shucked off one of his boots and offered it to his friend. "Check this out."

To John's stunned delight, it was exactly what it appeared to be. "Is it possible...?" His voice was a whisper.

"It is!" LeGrand clapped his hands in joy. "Not two boots sewn together, not an old pillow casing that's been turned into a boot! It's the real deal! Heaven has really big shoesJohn's eyes almost rolled back in his head. It was too good to be believed. "What else?", he demanded ( ... )

Cheers! It was actually hard to find someone especially important to John who died. I guess he's been lucky!

Much inhaled the exotic scent of whatever it was Djaq was burning. He felt a little lightheaded and his lids felt droopy. Propping himself up on his elbows, Much surveyed the room with sleepy eyes ( ... )

This is so sweet. I love that Marian recognizes that Much is the only one who loves Robin as much as she does. Just lovely.

This was lovely. Of course Marian would ask Much to look after Robin but also be concerned for Much himself.

And...are you having Marian ship Robin/Kate here? If so, very subtly done - kudos to you for getting away with it!
