I loved this. Robin being completely unnerved and everyone being subtly worried for John is lovely. And his reason for disappearing... - Aww.

I'm so glad you liked it. The title has at least three meanings...

Anyway, I had no idea how long this fic was going to be when I started, but I'm glad it gave LJ the words he deserved.

I've grown to appreciate him even more during this challenge.

I'm so glad you can hear Robin in that line because I wasn't sure "shrill" was the right word, but I couldn't think of a better one!
