Well done! I love the missing scenes. Placing Allan at the feast in Locksley works perfectly. And now we also know how he ended up in jail. Perfect. :)

Thank you! I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the gap-fillers. They're some of my favorite bits to play with!

Oh no! Instead of showing your title, your title field on the TAR page shows only the date!

I want to bring it to your attention so you can fix it!

I have never read a parallel novel--nor, in fact, heard of one until you referenced it here, but I find I like the idea very much--and enjoyed the new places you inserted Allan, and the new things you had him doing 'off camera'.
I look forward to more, and wish you the best in this fic venture!

Nell, thank you so much for the comment, I am sorry that I haven't got back to you about it till now.
I don't know of many 'parallel novels' myself--mostly I was thinking of Orson Scott Card's 'Ender's Game' and it's parallel story 'Ender's Shadow', which tells the story of a somewhat-minor character in 'Ender's Game'. They're science fiction and I don't know if that's a genre you enjoy reading, but I do highly recommend them, FWIW.
More on topic, I'm very happy to hear you enjoyed chapter one! I'm finishing up chapter two while lamenting that it's taken me this long to update, but I anticipate it being out soon. (Oh, and BTW, your note about '+1'-ing over on the yuku board made me smile; I don't really understand the concept, but regardless, that was such a nice gesture! I think I most certainly should figure it out so I can do likewise to a certain favorite WWII-era Robin Hood fic of mine. ;))
