I love interpretations of the events that we never saw played out between 2x12 and 2x13 and 3x01. So many possibilities, and this is off to a great start!

Allan's inner thoughts about the turns in his life; Djaq's thoughts about Will, the gang, returning home. And some nice touches like saw his jaw from that very particular angle below that only she could...saw the two small scars on the underside of his chin
and
none of the other lads had seemed even willing to so much as tolerate the idea of being paired with him for the task.
poor Allan...

Looking forward to Johannah's interaction with Allan and/or the gang!

Oh, THANK YOU for responding to this partially-posted fic. It means so much, and I'm really enjoying it myself and it's so nice to know that others are, too, and that they are even looking forward to more!
That you liked the line about scars really made me smile. Allan is a man that likes to have his secrets, after all, but we've seen him level w/ DJaq before in "Brothers in Arms".
