"Jigger off," Allan muttered to himself. "What th' bloody 'ell duzzat even mean?" He'd heard sod off, bugger off, and piss off, but never jigger off.
He supposed he could put it down to Much's natural prissiness that he would never even think of saying those other things. But the word he made up... Shaking his head in wonder at Much's command of language, he headed for the Trip.
He'd been practicing the cup game, in private of course. Robin would most certainly not approve. Nor would Much, come to think of it.
But Allan felt it was was about time he tried it out. His pockets were far too quiet since joining the gang. He could use a bit of jingle.
He'd play his game for a bit, win enough to buy an ale or two, then leave. With a chuckle he decided that if anyone gave him any guff about the game, well, he'd just tell them to jigger off.
