“So, that’s that, then,” Robin said. “Djaq will infiltrate the staff and be our inside man.”
They all agreed that this was the plan, until Will pointed out, “Yeah, but she can’t go alone. The job requires two people.”
An uneasy silence filled the camp. Slowly, Allan began to realize that all eyes were on him.
“Why me?” he cried. “Why not Will or Much?”
“Will’s the only one with the skills for the outside job and Much,” Robin said, considering the delicacy of the situation, “is needed as well.”
Allan brusquely grabbed the velvet gown and went to change.
