Author: ladylovelace
Title: Revelation no.9
Words: 645
Genre: Light slash, somewhat fluffy
Characters/Pairings: Allan/Will
Rating: PG-13, for boy/boy kissing
Disclaimer: The only thing I own is my laptop, and I can't see anyone wanting to claim it anyway. Somewhat more wealthy and sucessful people own the rest.
Summary: Allan has a somewhat odd encounter. I imagine this to take place between 1x02 and 1x03.
A/N: This should be blamed, in equal parts, on
mideltone_one , who came up with the "nine Wills" bit, and Freud, because he's the reason latent sexuality concerns manifesting in dreams is on my mind. The title is my attempt at being clever, feel free to mock it. Also not one of my usual pairings, so feel free to mock that too.

Allan was just dozing in the sun when he heard a noise. Startled, he went to get up before noticing it was the youngest of their number, Will. He'd only met the boy a few days ago but they got on well enough, so he offered a spot on the grass next to him for the younger outlaw to lie down and enjoy the sun. They lay there for a little while in silence, long enough that Allan had just closed his eyes again when he heard his name called. He turned his head to see his dark-haired friend looking at him. But hadn't he been on his other side before? Allan turned his head quickly to the other side to see that Will was indeed there, also. Just to make sure he hadn't missed something, he looked back to his other side and sure enough - Will.

Getting up to try and figure out what was going on, Allan noticed another figure coming over the hill. On closer inspection, it turned out to be another Will. He shut his eyes tightly for a moment, hoping that two of them would go away, but when he opened them again he noticed two further figures coming up from lower down the slope, both of whom also happened to be Will. He did a quick head count and found that there were now six Wills around him, and he was fairly sure that he'd only seen five total. He counted again and there were seven, so he decided to stop counting, lest any more appear.

Of course, as soon as he'd decided that, a further pair appeared from a crop of trees to the west. So as not to risk any more duplicates, Allan did a quick bit of mental maths and decided that there were now nine identical Wills gathered around him. And they were all looking at him...funny.

He stood in a slightly terrified silence for a few moments, until the Will which he thought had been the original stepped towards him.

“Lie down, Allan.”

Still quite terrified of the group that had gathered around him, Allan didn't even consider not complying. The Will who he was assuming was the “real” one lay down beside him on his side. Allan rolled onto his side to face him, because it was a whole lot less unsettling than seeing nine versions of the same person. It was only then that he realised how close together they were. Noses almost touching, in fact. Allan only had a second to contemplate this distance before Will leaned in and kissed him. Surprised for a moment, Allan froze before softening against his friend's warm mouth and allowing the kiss to deepen. He was just beginning to really enjoy himself when Will tipped over towards him a little bit and they rolled a little way down the hill.

And then someone was shaking his shoulder and whispering his name urgently.

“Allan, Allan, you alright?”

“Wha...” Allan rubbed his eyes a bit and looked up to see...Will, again, looking a little disturbed and still shaking him lightly. He realised two things in that moment, the first was that he had been dreaming, and the second was that he had a crush on his new friend.

“I said, are you alright? You were whimpering and them you sort of...rolled down the hill. You scared me.” The honest concern in the young outlaw's eyes made Allan ridiculously happy.

“Oh, yeah, mate, fine. Must've fallen asleep.”

“We better get back to the camp, the others'll worry.” Will extended his hand to help Allan up.

“Right, yeah, camp.” Allan grabbed Will's outstretched hand, and was pleased to note the little spark he felt when their hands touched. From the slightly surprised look on Will's face, he'd felt it too.
