And they're fast and easy to do, really. The white one going in the OVFF auction only took a few hours altogether. In retrospect, I should've made the middle section and bumps blue, and labeled it "EX-SMURF-INATE!" XD

Nah, I didn't come up with the pattern. If it was wholly original with me, I might ... but then Auntie Beeb might give me a funny look.

However, I'm sure they can't object to having one sold in a charity auction. :)

In some ways, I find crochet easier than knitting-though it really depends on the project. You can't really crochet a 4th Doctor scarf, it does need to be knit. And you are on crafty_tardis, yes? There are many a cross-stitch pattern there... :)
