We are packing and readying the motor home for our 2009 journey west to visit our kids. We plan on leaving Saturday August 15 and driving to Harrison Michigan to visit with Bonnie's parents. Then on Sunday the 16th we plan on heading north across the Mackinaw Bridge and then west on US-2. US-2 is a coast to coast highway that runs from Houlton ( Read more... )

2/1/2009 We got up at 7:30, made some coffee toast and cheese, and were on the road by 8:15 am. We headed south again on I-75. We stopped at Calhoun TN at 11:30 and bought gas.($1.89) Then we found a place to stop along side the road to make sandwiches for lunch. Bonnie and I are packing and getting ready for a trip to Florida in our motorhome. We plan on leaving when the weather improves, probably this coming weekend.
