I wouldn't mind seeing Silversun Pickups at KFMA Day but the rest of the lineup leaves me pretty cold. Besides, I have one piddly little final project I need to do this weekend. Also, why are the times on that web site listed backwards? Are they planning to rock so hard that they will go back in time?

Presumably the biggest names play last; they want you to see them in the list first, so time goes backward.

Yeah, I considered that. But that means Silversun Pickups, the second band to play, is, in the mind of KFMA the second worst band of the day and I can't get behind that. Frankly, I'm not sure why Chris Cornell is not the headliner but his work since Soundgarden has been pretty hit or miss. I'm not a fan, really, so it doesn't matter.

Really? Chris Cornell rocks IMO. I love the first Audioslave album, as well as the solo stuff.

I don't think he always sings songs that match his voice. Like I said, he's hit or miss with me. Come on over and we'll go to the concert.

Ah, yes the Silversun Pickups.

I like them. Lots. Even if the video for Lazy Eye is a little too teenie bopper for my tastes.

I haven't seen the video. The first few times I heard "Lazy Eye" on the radio, I thought it was a woman singing.

Are you going to the show?

Where did you take the photos in that post? You are a wickedly good concert photographer.

That is now my goal in life, to rock so hard I go back in time. Thank you.

Are you ready to rock? travspence May 4 2007, 17:25:53 UTC
I don't know if you watch MST3k but there's an episode where this rocker dude is driving and his car radio is blaring this awful song in which the singer keeps repeating, "We're gonna rock! We're gonna rock! We're gonna ROOOOOOOOOCK!"

When the radio finally stops, Servo deadpans, "I think they're planning to rock."
