By the way, I think The Prestige may have been totally awesome. At first I just thought it was really good, with end-of-Victorian-Era magicians warring with each other in a story where my gut instinct was, it's moving too fast. I just saw The Prestige last night. There was so much to love about it, and overall, i certainly enjoyed it, but i *really* think the script needed another rewrite. There were so many bits that were great ideas and concepts, but i just think it could have been pulled together a little neater.

But don't get me wrong, great flick. I mean, shit, warring magicians, turn of the centruy science... so damn cool!

I skimmed that description as i was thinking about reading the novel. one of the spoilers is something that I wish the film would have done, so i may go ahead and pick up the novel (obviously, i dont want to spoil anything here). Who knows. It might be nice to read something fantastical rather than what i have been reading lately.
