I'm making a paper rodent-cage water bottle. Why? For Halloween decorating at work: my team is called the Lab Rats. :) I also got to be part of a project: cutting out foam bats and hanging spider-webbing. Two hours of decorating AND I got paid. Some days I love my job. ^_

Wasn't there a recent fic with trouser ripping? or did I just find an old one and read, lol. I just remember Iruka's pants held together only by his belt ^ ^ (you know me and my late night insomniac reading when I'm sick, lol)

....I don't consider her the fandom equivalent of a bad Harlequin serial, though, which was what I was talking about. XD I know you know what those stories are. For reasons unknown I JUST KEEP CLICKING. And I always hit back, because I always know if I start reading them I will keep reading them regardless (or maybe because of) how out of character and trite and/or horrible and/or predictable the premise, plot, and progression is. It's like... All My Children with flowy low-cut dresses and multidirectional wind.

This is just the latest carved horse in what's shaping up to be a full carousel of sticky mess, played to the merry tune of "I want something but I don't want to ask for it so I will complain hopelessly until someone gives me what I want, and then I will spend the next year telling that person how they didn't have to give it to me, and shouldn't have, and how grateful I am. Then, if anyone believes me and stops giving me things, I will throw a gigantic jealous tissy fit over not being given what I didn't ask for and told you not to give me," alternating with "I am not going to get upset and get it over with, aka 'deal with' anything, even when I have rational reason to be upset, because that brings negativity. Instead I will carry it hanging over me like an umbrella for months or years." Both with full family-baggage accompaniment. It's quite entertaining, really, because she's a native Peruvian. XD

Ugh! Sympathies to your friend. Kidney stones are no fun, and I imagine not cheap to have dealt with (as I'm having mine dealt with on the 6th and it's like full on surgery with anesthesia and everything) Tell her to apply for charity care at the hospital that treated her.

Pretty sure mercy_angel_09 (who forced her unhappy ass to GO to the hospital) took care of it, but it probably bears repeating. Like most people, my friend doesn't listen at all well when she's upset.

My sympathies to you too! A stone too big to pass has got to be even less than no fun. >_

She sent me a message on Facebook not too long ago so I'm gonna say that she's feeling better, but that could be the Percocet talking.
