The trip to Stockholm can be seen as a random, somewhat crazy thing to suddenly decide to do in a day but I think I have been more drastic in the past. Being offered a place to stay in Helsinki with someone that I really enjoyed spending time with was a no-brainer as to where I would head next after Riga. Riga gets that great award that not everywhere is able to recieve that is, the one word: AMAZING! After being in Poland for such a long time it was a shock to the system in a way to be finally leaving the lovely country to continue my Euro Trek into other unknowns...such as the intriguing but mysterious Baltic region with it's dark history and secrets. After so long in Gdansk it was nice to finally move on but without a hostel in sight. The target was Tereska's apartment about 5 minutes by public transport from the centre of town.
