i never know the difference between snow and sleet. all i know is white stuff is falling from the sky and the UNIVERSITY IS CLOSING At 1:00!!!!

My Grandparents house up in northern michigan. This picture was taken at thanksgiving.

Sorry but I lived in that for years. It just doesn't appeal to me anymore.

My grandparents lived in Wisconsin for a long time, so I can relate to your sentiment. But still I'd love a big pile of snow right now in my yard for some afternoon snow sculpture.

Snow = fluffy, doesn't hurt so much when someone hits you in the face with it.

Sleet = not so fluffy, rather hurts and angers you when someone lobs one at your person.

Forecast: Don't lob today! Maybe tonight though if we're lucky.
