I Need Trashy Advice!

So, I know I'm not the only one out there who absolutely loves the spice mix that is included with many spicy Asian-ramen bowls. Call me a traitor, but I was never a fan of the noodles and actually love to take the spicy-salty powder mixture and throw into into a can or Progresso - making for a super salty, unbearably spicy, blood pressure raising ( Read more... )

I would think there is probably dried red chili and garlic with some black pepper; oh and everyone's favorite...MSG! ;)

I would use cayenne powder and fish sauce, maybe some soya sauce, too.

I don't know what the spicy powder is but most chinese food uses chinese 5 spice.

Salt, Hot Red Pepper, Sugar, Monosodium Glutamate (MSG), Garlic Powder, Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein , Dried Vegetables

or variations on this.
Sometimes also onion powder, chicken stock powder etc
