OK, I don't know which of you mentioned this sandwich combo, but it was definitely someone in this comm. Whoever you are, you are a GENIUS. The first bite was kind of odd, just because my taste buds have never encountered that particular combo of flavors before, but after that it was strangely delicious. Pickle.

I love these sandwiches. They've been a personal favorite of mine since the age of 14.

You should try Peanut Butter and Onion. It's also surprisingly nomilicious! :D

My step-dad got me hooked on peanut butter and pickle sandwiches when I was a kid. It's amazing what a dude will feed a whining child when there are no bananas left in the house. He always put mayo on one side though, because we are very heavy handed with the peanut butter which makes things a bit hard to swallow sometimes. Besides mayo instantly makes things a bit trashier, can't really go wrong there unless you do something weird like use miracle whip.
