One of the things I love about Ramen -- besides the whole 10-for-a-dollar bit -- is that it makes a perfect base for almost any leftovers. when i was reading that i was going to tell you about mixing the egg in after it's done but still in the pan (egg drop soup).

my sister and i would fix and add sourkraut, the egg and worstershire sause.

so many many things you can throw in and it will always be good.
