Been gone a while, apologize for that.  I keep swearing that I'm back and then things happen and I completely forget again.  *sigh ( Read more... )

so some things are at least/at last moving for you guys. Yay! you got a job! ^_^ good for you, hon! and it's one more thing to add to your resume.

how long's Cat going to be away then? it always scares me when I hear the army people going away. *wibble*

oh gosh, yes, I do all them mind dumbing things too when I need to be properly distracted. sadly, it also dumbs my muses so they won't come out and play. -_-;

*hugs* you hang in there, you never know what's around the bend. maybe up and moving will be a really good thing. *pets*

She's not really going away, thankfully. She's 'deploying' from her Air Force unit to a National Guard unit... that's at the same base. So she's still living at home, going to work at the same base, and all that. They just have to call it a deployment because it's from Air Force to Nat Guard. Well, that and she's going to be working a really funky schedule - 12 hour shifts and such. But at least I don't have to worry about her being overseas or anything ( ... )

Good for Cat. That job of hers is high stress, and I think it would be a limited time only deal for most people.

And good for you! A job that pays the bills is just fine, especially if it's something creative that you can get into. Beats pushing paper!

You should go and live in Savannah, it's pretty :-)

I love Savannah, it really is gorgeous - course most of north Georgia and South Carolina are gorgeous. Biggest factor in where we move is being close to her family without being *too* close, ya know?

And this definitely beats any retail or office job. I also really enjoy making my own schedule. Which will really work out once she's in college.

yay for the job! covering the bills is a very nice thing.

so many time sinks, so little time.

Haha, I don't bother to read canon HP; much prefer the fanfic.

way too little time *sigh*

is it odd that I think I'd actually accept an offer to become a vampire simply so I'd have enough time to do everything I want? that was my weird thought for the day

and canon HP... I gave up. I have serious issues with published works that have that many contradictions, plot holes, etc. I don't even really like them in fanfic but I can deal a lot better there than when I paid for it. And I will never read the last book, every single person I've talked to says it reads like bad fanfic so I'm not even going to bother.

not odd at all. There's seriously not enough time!

I lost interest in HP after the first few books, heh. But some of the fanfic out there is so good that I really enjoy reading the fanfic. Yay for good authors!
