Yeah, the few times I've been the one keeping myself afloat it's always been really, really tight and I've never done it 100% (usually because school was involved). And I've always felt like I could manage on my own, I think I just have this really deeply ingrained idea that it will be *really hard*.

I wish I had an administrative assistant. For my entire life as well as work.

Me too. Someone who will sort everything out for me and do all the shopping, cooking, bill paying, cleaning etc. As long as they'd be prepared to bugger off five minutes before I got home (having left me a nice dinner in the oven) and don't expect me to pay them I think it'd be a wonderful relationship. Hang on, do I need a part time wife?

Hahaha! I wouldn't mind paying if someone were very attentive and organized and had no problem obeying my instructions exactly. I think that kind of help would be well worth the $$.

1. God, I wish I had one of them, too. Cause life would be so much better with assistance.

2. I love reading EPIC fic so much. Mostly because if it's good, I just lose myself in it and sometimes that's all you want.

I have one for you. I think you said you don't really care if you know the fandom. It's actually a bandom fic (My Chemical Romance to be exact, it's about 55,000 words and it's just - at least I think - so freaking ammaaaaazing:

3. Writing huge stories can and will always be really intimidating to me. I just actually managed my first 50,000 word EPIC fic last year. And it was good. I was proud at the end. But this year it was like the first time all over again. It was really hard. So, I don't know. Maybe some of us writers just aren't me for super crazy long ass fics, lol.

4. I think we all have to feel that way sometimes. The future is so unset, you know? We don't know where we will be or what kind of position we' ( ... )

1. Yeah, the amount that I would pay someone to take care of all my paperwork for me.

2. Ooh, thanks for the rec! Bookmarking so I can read curled up on my couch with a nice cup of tea. That looks like a good way to unwind after work.

3. Yeah, what's weird for me is that initially my writing style was really wordy. My default was to just describe, describe, describe, and now I'm in this totally opposite place where describing feels like the hardest work in the world, and it's HARD to write long stuff without describing a lot of things.

4. Aww, thanks. *gratefully accepts hug*
