Ah, German. I remember the first time I heard the word "ausgezeichnet" it made me giggle far more than it should have.

And on the subject of Psych musical interludes, someone really needs to do a vid for this song because it is so very Shawn.

I &heart; that word. I also love all German words that involve rolling the r, there's something so liquid about it.

That song is so Shawn, wow! It's all of his dreams put to lyrical form.

And I'm uploading the caps now -- I've only done two eps so far and some miscellaneous random scenes I liked, but I figure it's more than nothing. ;)

I have fond memories of my high school German classes. My teacher was awesome.

For some reason, a lot of Great Big Sea songs remind me of Psych. Probably because I was listening to them a lot the last time I did a big rewatch, but still.

Up at the login area, where it says username, put in "wolfgoddess_12" and then whatever your password is for that account -- if you can't remember it you can have LJ e-mail to you -- and then you should be logged into your account. :)

*lol* at your german-word-love. it's my mother language (well swiss german is, but anyway) - so i don't really get it... even though i think it can be a quite pretty language, if you read stuff like goethe, heine, etc. but otherwise, *shrugs* i find it rather more complicated & long-winded (aka NOT elegant) than english ;)

also: TAPDANCING!GUS. i need it in my life!

Oh, that's not to say that I think German always sounds elegant or lovely. It's like any language, for me -- there are parts that really enchant me and parts that make me lol a lot.

But I do sort of have that same issue with English, since it's my mother tongue -- unless I'm reading something *really* artistic or lovely or that uses English in a new way that I'm not accustomed to, English doesn't sound as cool to me as other languages.

TAPDANCING!GUS, I WANT IT SOOO BADLY. And there are so many reasons he could tap dance! I feel like this wouldn't be difficult to work into canon at all. The case of the missing murdered tap dancer where they get on the INSIDE to fish out who in his troupe would have wanted to kill him? YES PLEASE.
