I organized e-mails this morning. Bookmarked fic from comments I'd saved into del.icio.us and deleted the comments. I am vaguely amused by myself, as I've pondered deleting my del.icio.us, so what would be the point in continuing to bookmark old fic I've read in there, exactly? Hmmmm. I have no answer! ahahahaha! i knew either you or murklins would leave me such a comment. you can't understand the temptation at all, though? because if i delete it, then i don't have to do any of those goddamn "oh, man, if only i had TWENTY HOURS at my disposal to re-sort through ALL MY LINKS to categorize them in a way ONLY I WILL CARE ABOUT" thoughts i have.

of course, the biggest temptation is the, "hey, clean slate! opportunity to bookmark FIVE GAZILLION new things!" yeaaaaah. del.icio.us really is a way of life.

Pam texted me about this on my holiday. I THOUGHT THE WORLD WAS ENDING. (Seriously, some people told me about all this wank that was going down, and I was all *YAWN* -- but this! This was alarming.)

My del is too soothing to my OCD brain. It is so lovely to see all my thousands of perfect links, even knowing that I am hundreds of stories behind in my tagging.

So far this is the only comment I've left today in my epic LJ catch up. ?skip=460 is now down to 140. I trudge on.

I want thousands of perfect links! My links, alas, are far from perfect. Many are mis-tagged, I have no real consistent labeling/formatting practice, and I haven't even imported a fraction of the stuff I want to into my del. God, how I wish I had the money to pay someone to do all this menial work for me. I SO WOULD. It would be worth it to be able to rest easy knowing every single one of my bookmarks was properly tagged and formatted.
